Evangeline enjoyed her first taste of real food this week--cereal! Unlike Connor, she took to eating this pretty quick and was asking for more.

Connor visits the dentist

Connor has been brushing his teeth 2x/day religiously since getting his first tooth. The dentist didn't want to see him until he turned three. We went right before Halloween for his first check-up. I made sure he knew what to expect and there was no trouble with the visit. He received his cleaning and fluoride. Connor was excited to receive a whole goody bag of Halloween things (bracelets, coloring book, vampire teeth, bookmarks, pencils).

Hard to believe it is almost Christmas yet again. The kids are doing well and growing like weeds. The picture to the right is a recent picture of Connor and Evangeline.

Big brother

I'm sure you have already heard the news, but just in case, I'm going to be a big brother in July. Mom goes to the doctor next week and they will determine whether I'm going to have a brother or sister. Right now I'm excited about this news. This feeling may change once the baby actually appears in the family and wakes me up in the middle of my sound sleep. Stay tuned!

Michigan Basketball

Yes, I finally attended my first UM basketball game yesterday. So much fun! The seat wanted to keep folding on me which made me want to just stand for most of the time. At first I was being shy about clapping, but eventually I was clapping non-stop, saying "go Michigan", doing the twist, and pumping my fists. At one point I was so excited with the fist pumping that mom thought I might knock the guy out in front of me. Dad said it seemed like I was from the Jersey Shore...LOL! (MTV reference).

Months in the year

So, I'm just about 2.5 years old and you would not believe the things I'm learning at school. This month I have been overheard reciting the months of the year (in order!) while playing. Last month, I surprised mom with my knowledge of the days of the week. Who knows--maybe it will be the US presidents next month!
